Meet Dr. Kisha Walker
Founder & Lead Educator
Dr. Kisha Walker is a nationally recognized educator, presenter, published author, and researcher.
Her scholarship and advocacy focus on inclusive education, special education, literacy development, curriculum development, professional development, educator well-being, data-informed continuous improvement, and equity-driven systems change. Through her leadership across universities, schools, and communities, she is committed to empowering educators, amplifying youth voice, and ensuring high-quality educational opportunities for all learners. Her passion for equity in education drives MWED Partners' mission to provide high-quality support to all learners. Dr. Walker is intensely engaged in K–12 youth development and community-based education, designing and leading literacy initiatives, civic learning programs, and leadership development experiences that empower students and families. She serves as Education Chair for the Atlanta NAACP Branch, and Senior Fellow with the Polarities of Democracy Institute.
